CONCEPTS OF OPERATION
VWR is charged with the duties and responsibilities necessary to provide virtual humanitarian relief whenever and wherever any humanitarian disaster may occur. Virtual pilots are provided with the opportunity to fly their aircraft anywhere in the world. All pilots must be active members of Greenbrier Virtual Aviation to participate and must have completed the GVA standard pilot training period in order to qualify. Pilots are allowed to select any aircraft they choose for their relief services flights, however all aircraft must be mission appropriate in order to qualify for use. Pilatus PC-12, C-130 Hercules, DC-3, Cessna Caravan are but a few examples of appropriate aircraft types.
It is hoped that pilots will restrict their flights to those areas in need of humanitarian assistance and aid oriented flying, rather than using the aid concept to allow them to simply do world wide flights in large aircraft.

OTHER VWR SERVICES
Recently Virtual World Rescue has been able to expand into the field of cultural resource rescue and management. Often during periods of disaster or warfare, or simply during periods of resource transfer, objects of great cultural significance need to be moved to a different location. This type of resource transfer may consist of the safe delivery of museum resources and exhibits as well as removal and rescue of art objects and cultural artifacts of great age and antiquity.
